Véronique Billat

Véronique Billat was born on the 11th of september 1961, in Grenoble France. She is a French physiologist, a university professor, founder and director of the integrative biology of exercice adaptations laboratory, labeled within the university and the Evry Genopole, labelled in 2007 unity INSERM 902. She also has a 3rd degree brevet d’etat in athleticism. She dedicated her work in making links between science and empirism of sports training, by staying in tune with the field of physiological theory. From this didactic, she developed an individualised training method based on the sportsman’s physiological profile, taking into account VO2max energy (product of VO2max by its limited time) and its restrictive factors.
